Killing Time

• Sometimes I laugh at the most inappropriate moments.
• Sometimes I get the blues for no reason at all.
• Most of the time I am in a state of blissful unawareness. Good for me.
• I have no opinions about politics or the state of economy or which top brass is shagging who. I don’t know if the latest economic policy, or the latest bill passed by the parliament will have great impact on the social well being of the citizens of Malaysia. I care. But I don’t know. And will not pretend to know I know how to run the country better than whoever’s running it at the moment. I have A LOT of opinion about Akademi Fantasia students, though. A LOT!!!
• I think I am perpetually amused with life. And everything else in between.
• I can fake my way through almost anything. Really. Yes, even *that*.
• I watch Formula 1 races. Even when I am alone.
• And football. Especially if the money is good.
• And pretty girls at the park.
• Ok ok, sometimes I look at the guys too ;-P
• I’d like to invite these people for dinner: Richard P Feynman, JRR Tolkien, Kurt Vonnegut, Mike Royko, Christina Rosetti, Kahlil Gibran, Glen Phillips, Cloud Strife (please marry me), Draco (the Dragon from Dragonheart), the guy who wrote Chicken Run and the guy who calls himself the Self Made Critic over (the now defunct) brunching.com. Aw yeah.
• I am an expert juggler of time, 24 hours IS enough to do all that I want to do.
• Sometimes I deliberately break promises, stand people up, lie and feign interest.
• A lot of times people cannot tell whether I am joking or being serious.
• Sometimes people think I have double meanings and hidden agenda.
• Most of the time I don’t.
• I have been told that I am brutally honest.
• I am loud and noisy and pushy. And very determined. What Ijah wants, Ijah gets.
• When I am silent, that means you are in trouble.
• I am short.
• I play the guitar passably.
• I think Austin Powers and Mini Me are swell. Where can I get one?
• I think money is overrated. But I’d like more of it, please.
• I don’t drink soya bean milk.
• Sometimes I think too much.
• Sometimes I waste my time on petty, unimportant things. Like this blog.
• Sometimes I want to change the world.
• I know I can’t.
• I believe human beings are responsible for his actions. Blaming it on religion, race, the government, the society, the sun, the moon, the stars, is just plain cowardice. Bite the bullet. Life is tough and unfair. So?!
• I always believe I am not in love. Even when I think I am.
